Missouri town calls on 3P Utility for gas distribution replacement project

During autumn 2020, a regulated water, natural gas and electric utility company providing utility management and support to small and mid-sized communities, called on 3P Utility Services for a gas distribution replacement project for a town in Missouri. The utility selected 3 P Utility Services for the project, in part, because of our experience with utilities like Nicor Gas and other investor-owned utilities across the nation.

Within two months, we replaced 30,000-feet of deteriorating, bare steel pipe across the town with new fittings and PVC piping. The project also included meter changeouts, relighting service and installing regulator stations and odorizers. According to the utility’s director of operations, “3P Utility Services’ ISNetworld rating was an A; their safety record was a big part of why we chose to work with them.”

Magnolia River Services, Inc., an engineering and consulting firm, served in an inspection role for the project.
